The world holds its collective breath.

As usual it became Tuesday 4th November in Europe before America, but what kind of a result are we hoping for here?

I can’t say for sure, but I can say that the one McCain supporter I have met, changed his mind the moment Palin was selected as his Vice President candidate. So that should give a general impression on what Europe hopes for. But, since it is all out of our hands anyway, we can all just lean back, cross everything we have to cross and relax, while we enjoy something this campaign has had more of than any other before it. And that is Comedy!

Palin alone has accounted for almost as many gaffs George W. Bush delivered in his two campaigns, and that in its own right is quite impressive. She famously couldn’t remember the name of a single newspaper, while claiming she “read all of them.” However, she hasn’t been alone, although her gaffs probably did get most coverage from the media.

Joe Biden was famous for gaffs before this election, but only really delivered one truly memorable one, when he asked the wheelchair bound Senator Chuck Graham to “stand of and let the people see you”.

So now, we wait. But hopefully not for as long as 2000 election, and hopefully it wil be a different outcome.
