Both Barack Obama and John McCain were campaigning in Pennsylvania Tuesday. The state is important for both parties, but especially for the Republicans who lost the state four years ago. Some analysts thinks he needs to win here to have any chance of winning the election in a weeks time.

McCain had planned to hold two rallies, one indoors and one outdoors, both in the town of Hersey. Barack Obama had an outdoor rally planned in Chester. The weather was awful in both towns, with rain, wind and sleet. This was a bit on the chilly side for the 72 year old (who might be prone to getting an autumn cold?), so he cancelled the outdoor rally, making do with just the indoor one. Obama, on the other hand, kept his promised appearance to the delight of thousands of wet and cold voters. 

If this is all it takes for McCain to cancel a scheduled event, how will he cope if he is elected as President? The sun doesn’t always shine, not even when you’re president. It will be cold in the winter. If he will only go outside in good weather, America and the rest of the world should be very worried.
Just think what might happen if he is forced out to meet some head of state, catches a cold and needs to be off duty for a while to recuperate. Enter “acting” president Palin! 
Let’s hope America has learned something from the last two elections and will vote for the right man this time.
