More trouble for the McCain/Palin campaign.

A few days after the ‘Gucci’ storm, Sarah Palin is still making headlines. And that is not good for John McCain. She has just finished giving evidence, behind closed doors, about her apparent misuse of power when firing an official in Alaska. If that wasn’t bad enough, she will not brand those who bomb abortion centers as terrorists.

Palin’s strong stand against abortion is well documented. Her own family has often been at the centre of her fight against the pro-choice movement; her youngest son has Downs’s syndrome and her teenage daughter is pregnant, but not married. In an interview on NBC she was asked if a man who throws a firebomb in to an abortion clinic is a terrorist. At first she avoided the question; instead steering it in the direction of Bill Ayers, then she tried to divide between those who tries to destroy American institutions and those who kill innocent people, and at last said she wasn’t sure she would call the latter terrorists.

Another female working for, but not, John McCain is Ashley Todd. She was in the news yesterday, claiming she was attacked by ‘some black Obama supporters’ who used a knife to scratch a “B” on her cheek. She folded and confessed when police asked her to give information for an e-fit. Apparently she’d been under suspicion the whole time as the “B” was scratched in backwards…
