Barack Obama is leading in the polls. Almost all of them. In the latest one from Zogby and C-span he is leading McCain by 6 percent; Obama has 49 to McCain’s 43. But polls by voter groups shows that McCain is trailing Obama in almost all of them.
Obama has a 17 percent lead over McCain when it comes to non partisan voters and 11 percent amongst women. Obama is also winning the men over, but his lead here is not as great as the other voter categories. It doesn’t stop there. He is winning over Catholics and Hispanic voters, and he is ahead in all age groups. McCain only has the lead in two categories; white males and the rich voters. But as the financial crises continues the latter category in on the decline. Do we dare to hope?
