Joe Biden has finally hauled himself out of hibernation and made an appearance. On national television! Not bad, considering his rival Sarah Palin gets more media coverage than John McCain, mostly due to her unrelenting use of her own family for the republican campaign.
Senator Biden seemed relaxed and comfortable in the company of Jay Leno. When asked about his friend John McCain, he said that McCain doesn’t seem like himself at this stage of the campaign. ‘He seems a little more angry than he normally is’, Biden observed after Leno referred to the comical facial expressions during Thursday’s debate. Biden continued to say that he didn’t think McCain was comfortable with the negative turn taken in his campaign.
Joe Biden then went on to make fun on his own behalf, being known for his gaffes. The latest one, which happened in Ohio on Wednesday, where he referred to a three-letter word, jobs. He went on to say that he will make a whole lot more, providing late night talk shows with more material in the future.
Biden finished on a more sombre note; age. He joked about his own age, but poked at McCain, saying if elected he will be the oldest first term president in US history. Sarah Palin might become the youngest vice president to take the big office, so this next term might get real exiting.
