Biden on Leno on McCain.

Joe Biden has finally hauled himself out of hibernation and made an appearance. On national television! Not bad, considering his rival Sarah Palin gets more media coverage than John McCain, mostly due to her unrelenting use of her own family for the republican campaign.

Senator Biden seemed relaxed and comfortable in the company of Jay Leno. When asked about his friend John McCain, he said that McCain doesn’t seem like himself at this stage of the campaign. ‘He seems a little more angry than he normally is’, Biden observed after Leno referred to the comical facial expressions during Thursday’s debate. Biden continued to say that he didn’t think McCain was comfortable with the negative turn taken in his campaign. Biden on Leno on McCain.

Trying to calm the storms.

John McCain told the audience at a rally in Lakeville, Minnesota, not to be afraid of Barack Obama, should he be elected as President. He hasted to add that he would make a much better one, but that Obama is a good man and should be respected. McCain is trying to lessen the aggressive tone his campaign has taken during the last couple of weeks.

McCain even interrupted a voter who took the mike at the rally, saying ‘I don’t trust Obama. I’ve read about him. He’s an Arab’. McCain was heard saying that Obama is indeed a nice, family guy, and a citizen with fundamentally different views. ‘Fundamentally’ is a great word to put in when stupid people think you’re talking about an Arab. Trying to calm the storms.

Failin’ Palin

It was just a month ago when John McCain introduced Sarah Palin to the world outside Alaska. Early polls suggested that she could lift the Republican campaign with her youth and femininity. But Palin has failed to perform. After her very successful speech at the Republican National convention, she has almost been sheltered from the media, giving very few interviews compared to her rival, Joe Biden. Failin’ Palin

Comeback Clinton!

Joe Biden has made a few errors lately. This can cost him dearly, as Obama has a way of replacing him. Biden’s errors are embarrassing for the Obama campaign, but few think they have an impact on opinion polls. Rumors are circulating in the US about this, and Obama’s campaign has yet to deny it. Is this because Barack Obama has finally admitted that choosing Biden as his running mate might have been the beginning of the end? Comeback Clinton!
